Welcome to Our May Sweet Tea & Friend’s Link Up!
Hello, dear friends! Pull up a comfy chair, pour yourself a tall glass of sweet tea (or whatever delightful beverage you fancy! Maybe hot tea for friend’s wintering), and let’s connect. It’s so lovely to have you join me here for our May link-up.
Isn’t it wonderful how the world around us is waking up? Here in Western Pennsylvania (USA), we’ve been basking in steadily sunnier and warmer days. Of course, Mother Nature likes to keep things interesting, and we’ve certainly had our fair share of dramatic downpours and those slightly unnerving high winds that make the trees dance!
My kitchen has been a happy place, with some recent creations making their debut here and others finding their way over to my other little corner of the internet, Musings & Glimpses (where I chat about faith, flavor, and home). I’ve also been thinking about those cozy winter meals I whipped up a while back but haven’t yet shared them here. With summer just around the corner, and my inclination towards lighter fare like salads and sandwiches (anything to avoid heating up the kitchen!), I figured this would be the perfect time to get those recipes posted finally. Perhaps our friends who are currently experiencing winter will appreciate some warm and comforting inspiration!
One of the things I cherish most about our little virtual get-together is the chance to travel the world through your eyes. Seeing the beautiful places you’re enjoying and the little slices of life you share is such a genuine treat for me. More than that, it warms my heart to witness your devotion to Jesus, your passions bubbling to the surface, your creativity shining through, and the lovely rhythm of your homes and lifestyles. Thank you for opening a window into your world!
And now, without further ado, let’s start this wonderful link-up! I’m so excited to see what you’ve been up to. Please feel free to share your new or old blog posts – whether it’s a delicious recipe, a creative project, a peek into your home, a reflection on faith, or anything else that’s been on your heart. Let’s encourage and inspire each other!
Now, on to the link-up!

Love this post Paula! Yes, as things awake in your hemisphere, things are going to sleep in our garden as winter approaches. We’ve had an enormous amount of rain of late, so today it’s cold, rainy & windy again. So I have my comfy hot cuppa with me for our time together.
Although, this weather has brought the Bromeliads into flower, so we have a fence line of stunning Red stalks & flowers in our backyard at the moment.
Thank you for featuring my post ‘Exploring our DNA’, that was a lovely surprise. I’m sitting at #5-8 this month. And I’ll have to check out your recipes for this cold weather.
Blessings sweet friend, Jennifer
I agree–it’s so fun to “travel” through blog posts and see what other delicious things are being cooked up in kitchens. Thanks for hosting! I’ve left 13 and 14 this time–off now to see what others have shared. I’ll be back sharing more in a couple of weeks. Enjoy your May! 🙂
Paula, can you believe we’re heading into May? It seems like just yesterday that we were heading into January. Thank you for hostessing us month in and month out. It’s a delightful gathering that never ends! And you are such a faithful visitor to all one million of our posts.
Bless you, girl.
Thanks so much for featuring my post about “The First Step to Murder.”
This is one of my favorite times of year, to see the landscape coming back to life.
Paula, thank you for hosting. I’ll have to check out your other blog! Have a great week.
Thank you so much for the feature! I so appreciate it. Thanks for the party too.
You are so welcome Amy. It’s my pleasure.
Paula, thanks again for such a lovely and inviting monthly link-up! Have a great week ahead, and thanks for allowing all of us to come and share with your readers. Melynda @scratchmadefood!
Happy May, Paula! We so appreciate you and this space to gather each month! You are right – it’s a wonderful place to learn more about the world, share our faith journeys and to find lots of inspiration, too! Special thanks for highlighting our “April Fools” post! Wishing you a blessed month ahead!
Thank you for hosting a lovely linky party every month, Paula! I enjoy the inspiration! Creatively, Beth
Such a gentle and welcoming post. I love how you describe the season changing—it’s the same here, a mix of sunshine and sudden rain.
Thank you for hosting. I’m joining in this month too and it’s lovely to be part of this quiet, encouraging space.

Hi Paula 😁! The weather here has been tempestuous also, but I think sunnier days are arriving; slowly, but promising.
👋 – I checked out your {Musings & Glimpses} Page, and everything looks like interesting reading 😉
A friend from a Bible Study, gave me the Nabeel Qureshi’s Book, “Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus”, to read last Sring; and it was insightful 👌
And I’m going to have to find your Pinterest Page – because the foods shown have me salivating 😂🤣
Thank you for the beautiful link-up, dear friend. I pray you are feeling well today.
It’s wonderful to be in Spring, Paula! The rains have brought forth the green leaves on the trees, brightened the grass, and awakened the flowers. The birds are chirping outside the window while we read, write, and putter around the house and yard. I too enjoy cool, green salads and fresh fruits during the warm months.
Back again with 109 and 110. Hope your May is off to a lovely start! 🙂 Thank you for hosting. Off now to see what others have shared since I was here last.
