Hi there! I’m just your average Jesus-lovin’ gal!

Hey everyone, I’m just your ordinary Christian woman trying to navigate the beautiful chaos of everyday life. Just traversing through the wilderness of the everyday mess— and finding beauty from ashes.

I’m a retired social worker by trade (BSW, if you’re wondering!). I live in Western Pennsylvania with my furry best friend, Little Girl, a spoiled rotten beagle who brings endless amusement to my days. My two daughters are all grown up and on their own.

Life for me comes with a side of invisible chronic illness. Fibromyalgia, chronic pain, “complicated” migraines that seem to take on a life of their own, trigeminal neuralgia (don’t even get me started!), and anxiety for good measure.

But that’s just part of my story! And it’s a story I share because I know others are facing similar challenges. Those “you too?!” moments? Yeah, we’ve all been there. I love encouraging others battling invisible illnesses – to let them know they’re not alone in this messy journey.

Here’s the thing: our stories matter. The words we share have the power to touch lives in ways we can’t even imagine, and that’s perfectly okay. Because guess what? God sees it all.

And on that note, I don’t believe anyone is beyond Jesus’ reach. His love is boundless, and he meets us exactly where we are, in the beautiful mess of our everyday lives. My writing reflects that. It’s about whatever He lays on my heart, whatever nudges me to pause, reflect, and even hit the reset button.

Life can get spinny, messy and chaotic even. Sometimes, we feel like we’re spinning out of control. But through it all, there’s Jesus, our anchor, our constant. And let me tell you, He’s a master at redirection, not rejection, especially when we’re facing hardship, feeling lost— or even being stupid.

So, are you ready to traverse this messy life together? Come on in, grab a cup of coffee (or tea, if that’s your thing), and let’s see where this journey takes us!

When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.”

John 8:7— NIV

And

Then Jesus stood up again and said to the woman, “Where are your accusers? Didn’t even one of them condemn you?”

11 “No, Lord,” she said.

And Jesus said, “Neither do I. Go and sin no more.”

John 8:10— NLT
