It’s that time again when I meet up with friends over @ Jennifers for Share 4 Somethings. Each month, we share what we Loved and/or disliked, accomplished, some things we’ve improved upon, and/or that need improvement and noticed.

Loved

I loved participating in Linda’s The Listening Life Book Club. We took a look at Adam McHugh’s The Listening Life: Embracing Attentiveness in a World of Distraction. The conversation is still open over at Linda’s place. Pop on over and join in.

Linda is the best hostess, and her warmth and hospitality are so welcoming. I have to give Linda a shout-out and thanks bunches and bunches for getting me out of my reading funk.

Check this out! For those of you who listened to me whine and fuss all year about being in a reading funk. In February, I read:

Everybody Always— By: Bob Goff, You Can read my review HERE.

Ten Words to Live By” by Jen Wilken. You can read my review HERE.

I’m also currently reading The Irish Boarding House By Sandy Taylor. I’ll be finished with it before the end of the month. I’ll add my review next month.

Improved Upon & Noticed

I noticed that I need to improve upon responding to comments on the blog in a more timely manner. So, I’ve been intentionally trying to respond more timely.

Ate

Okay, guys, I have a good one this month. Red Lobster! My very favorite restaurant.

That’s all from me this month! I’m excited to hear what everyone’s been up to in February. And as we flip the calendar to March, I wish you all a month filled with joy, inspiration, and exciting possibilities. See you next month!

  1. Yay for getting out of a reading funk! I like Red Lobster, too. I go out to lunch with one friend once a month or so, and we alternate between Red Lobster and Cracker Barrel. I love RL’s popcorn shrimp, but I’ve been trying to choose some healthier alternatives lately.

    1. Thanks Barbara for your encouragement. I love when you guys share book reviews and recommendations.

  2. Gosh I haven’t eaten at a Red Lobster in ages and ages… I don’t even know if there are any left around us. I used to love their biscuits though. Yay for getting out of your reading funk; I hate when those strike.

    1. Thanks so much for your reading encouragement. Oh those biscuits are amazing aren’t they?

  3. Oh my – your needs improvement. You and me both. I have gotten really off with responding in a timely manner or even at all. I always wonder if folks even know that I responded. Do they go back and read my responses? Not sure if I am just wasting time. Hmmm – but I so enjoy the engagement.

  4. I am reading The Listening Life as well, only at a much slower pace. Like … way slower 🙂 But it is a wonderful book! We haven’t had a Red Lobster near us in many, many years. But my mom has found a box mix for their biscuits which my parents enjoy to bake. Sounds like February was a very productive month for you! And so we march on 🙂

    1. I agree it really is a good book. I’ve seen the box mixes for the biscuits but haven’t tried them. I think I even saw already made frozen ones at Walmart.

  5. Looks like you had a great month! We like Red Lobster too!
