Happy New Year, Friends!

Welcome to 2026! Pull up a seat in my virtual living room and sit with me, won’t you? I’ve virtual refreshments. Make yourself at home and pour yourself a glass of wine, bubbly, or something warm and cozy. There’s coffee, hot tea, and hot cocoa (Oh, let’s not forget there’s Sweet Tea, too), and let’s get comfortable. I am so thrilled to welcome you to our very first Sweet Tea & Friends Link Up Party of the year!

There is something so refreshing about the first few days of January—the clean slate, the crisp and quiet morning air, and the excitement of a new chapter. But before we dive into what’s ahead, I can’t help but look back at the incredible journey we shared over the last twelve months.

A Look Back at an Amazing 2025

I am still pinching myself when I think about how much this community grew in 2025. Our gathering of voices has blossomed into a vibrant, supportive space where we celebrate the simple joys of life together.

Because of you, our link-up is a monthly highlight for me and others. Whether you shared recipes, a heartfelt story, a DIY project, or just a bit of encouragement, you helped build this porch into a home. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for showing up, for engaging with one another, and for making this corner of the internet so incredibly special.

Warm Wishes for the Year Ahead

As we step into 2026, my prayer for you is that this year is filled with:

  • Abundant Peace: May your homes be a sanctuary of rest.
  • Joy in the Small Things: May you find beauty in the steam of a morning coffee and the laughter of good friends.
  • Purposeful Growth: May you find the courage to chase new dreams while cherishing old traditions.

I am buzzing with anticipation to see what you all have in store for us this year. I look forward to every single post, every update, and every “hello” in the comments. I can’t wait to see your projects, hear your wisdom, and walk through 2026 right alongside you.

The party is officially open! Let’s kick off this year with a bang. I can’t wait to see what everyone’s going to be up to—show us what you’ve been working on!
