Pull up a chair, pour yourself a glass of something refreshing, and make yourself at home. It is officially March, and soon we’ll be watching the first buds of spring peek through the soil or feeling the gentle shift toward autumn. There is no better time to gather together.

Our community is built on the simple joys of sharing—stories, recipes, tips, and the everyday moments that make life sweet. I’m so glad you’re here to kick off a brand-new month of blogging with us.

Seasons in Transition: A Tale of Two Hemispheres

One of the most beautiful things about our global “porch” is that we get to experience the changing seasons through each other’s eyes.

  • To our friends here up north: The wait is almost over! We’re standing on the doorstep of spring. Soon the season will renew, the smell of rain on warm pavement, and the excitement of seeing the world turn green again. Let’s shake off the winter blues together.
  • To our friends Down Under: Soon you’ll be pulling off your gardening gloves, and may be looking forward to leaning into the golden glow of autumn. I hope your March brings a few cooler breezes, cozy evenings, and the peaceful transition into a slower pace of life.

No matter the temperature outside your window, the warmth here remains the same.

  2. For reading friends: May you find exactly the encouragement, story, advice, craft, or recipe you needed to hear today. I wish you moments of quiet reflection and a sense of belonging every time you click on a new post.
  3. For Everyone: May this month bring you a sense of balance. Whether you are “spring cleaning” your life or hunkering down for a cozy fall, may you find time to breathe and appreciate the “Sweet Tea” moments of your day.

Thanks for highlighting, “The Ordinary Path to Deep Peace,” Paula. I worked on my garden yesterday…filling pots 2/3 with dirt, moving pots around, etc. Little by little the garden area is coming together. Hopefully, I can plant in the next couple of weeks. Happy March!
