Oh dear, I’m really late with prompts this month. But I didn’t forget. July, the heart of summer, is a time for relaxation, rejuvenation, and reflection. What better way to capture the beauty and depth of this season than through journaling? As we bask in the warmth of the sun and the joy of longer days, let’s use this opportunity to connect with our faith, family, and inner selves. This month, let your journal become a sanctuary where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Here are some prompts to inspire your July journaling journey.

Beyond journaling, consider these creative outlets to capture the essence of summer:
Vision Board: Create a visual representation of your goals, dreams, and aspirations for the rest of the summer. Include images, quotes, and affirmations that inspire you.
Scrapbooking: Collect mementos, photos, and ticket stubs from your summer adventures. Decorate your scrapbook pages with journaling entries, quotes, and stickers.
Art Journaling: Combine writing with visual art. Use paints, markers, or collages to express your thoughts and feelings.
Letter Writing: Send snail mail letters or cards to family or friends.
Recipe Journaling: Record your favorite summer recipes with a twist— add personal anecdotes or reflections about the dish.
Collage: Gather images, quotes, and pieces of paper that resonate with you. Arrange them into a collage that reflects your mood or a specific theme.
Travel Journal: If you’re going on a trip, document your experiences, sights, and tastes.
Bullet Journal: Combine journaling, to-do lists, and creative elements into a versatile planner.
And don’t forget to keep this in mind:
Remember, there are no right or wrong answers when journaling. The goal is to be honest, authentic, and open to the insights that may arise. Let your journal be a safe space for your thoughts and feelings to unfold. Happy journaling!

Such great prompts!
Thanks so much Amy
How has nature’s beauty deepened your connection with God this month? I couldn’t believe I saw the most beautiful rainbow go over our home the night before my birthday after I got to watch a stunning storm. I love sunsets, storms, and rainbows. I have been known to literally chase down the chance to see a beautiful sunset and take a picture of it. That was such a wonderful blessing to me. (I did post it on my Instagram.) I was so blown away, I actually cried about it.
Oh wow how delightful. I love storms too. ❤️
I love #19 because I think journaling by itself can really invite mindfulness. Lovely prompts! Thanks so much for sharing this post with us at the Will Blog for Comments #43 linkup. We hope you’ll share more at #44 which opens on Monday morning. 🙂
It’s my pleasure to share with your readers my friend.
