Scripture

\”Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.\” The Lord of Heaven\’s Armies is here among us; the God of Israel is our fortress.\”

Psalm 46:10-11— NLT

And

\”Now then, stand still and see this great thing the Lord is about to do before your eyes!\”

1 Samuel 12:16 — NIV

And

\”My soul, wait in silence for God alone, For my hope is from Him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, My refuge; I will not be shaken.\”

Psalm 62:5-6— NASB

Pray

Father God, There\’s too much noise! It\’s really a mess down here; in today\’s chaotic and stressful world of overwrought emotions and overloaded with my to-do\’s, sometimes the state of your world makes me sad, and my thoughts run amuck, like squirrels darting across leafy branches when I worry about circumstances in my life. Instead of listening to the noise of my worries, I need help putting my concerns in your hands and listening to your voice. Please help me to pause and be still. I am comforted knowing you can calm any storm. Help me intentionally find a quiet place, A place with no noise. So that I can stop and focus on the beauty of Christ, I pray I receive the peace that you have promised me.
In Jesus\’ name,
Amen
