Book Review: Girl-To-Girl 60 Mother-Daughter Devotions For A Closer Relationship and Deeper Faith— By; Stacey And Bekah Pardoe

I was honored to participate on the launch team for this great book. My heart was warmed throughout my participation. I had so much fun getting to know Stacey and Bekah more intimately.

This was such a refreshing mother-daughter devotional to read. Tweens and their mothers will love this, written by tween daughter and mother. Stacey and Bekah are so entuned to one another.

I felt like I was sitting at their family\’s kitchen table, having a lighthearted conversation with just the girls. Their pleasing personalities and love of God shine through. This isn\’t just a devotional for young girls and their mothers; women of any age will enjoy this devotional. My children are grown, and I read this independently as a middle age woman.

Stacey and Bekah provide beautiful insights and encouragement to pause and reflect upon. Each devotion is divided into sections, including a focus Bible verse, \”Mom\’s Thoughts,\” written by Stacey, \”Girl to Girl,\” written by Bekah, a prayer to read out loud together, and a journaling section for mother and daughter to complete at a later time.

You will surely find this devotional inspiring, encouraging, and oh-so refreshing. I received an advanced reader copy of this devotional from the authors for an honest review. My opinions are 100% my own.

  1. Sounds like you really enjoyed this book. I have no idea what a relationship like this would consist of. I had a horrible mother. I’ve written about it, not pleasant to talk about. Thanks so much for linking up at the Unlimited Link Party 90. Shared.

  2. Paula, what an honor to read your kind words about our book! Thank you for taking the time to write this lovely review! We pray this book blesses many women and girls and helps moms and daughters grow closer together while also connecting with God like never before!

  3. I enjoyed your review of this book. I noticed it mentioned in our spaces. It was interesting to hear your comment that even if your children are grown, this book was still a blessing to read.

Thank you for posting your insight into this book.

    Blessings,
    Janis

  4. Oh I would have loved this way back in the day! Beautiful.

I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with rest, hope, and celebration, friend. I’m grateful that we get to do this blogging life together …

  5. This sounds like a wonderful resource for mothers of teen or pre-teen daughters. And a great resource for older ladies discipling teenage girls. ~Visiting today from Let’s Have Coffee
