Happy Friday Friends!!! Sending Have A Great Weekend wishes your way. I hope everyone had a great 4th of July and or Canada Day.

* My week started out with a picnic on my friend’s backyard pavilion on the 4th. A good time was had by all.

* Not so serious crafter here made another wreath. This one is made from a loofa bath puff. If you’d like you can find that DIY Tutorial HERE.

* Mid Week saw storms blowing in, and I love to watch and listen to a good thunderstorm. One of my very favorite things to do is watch the leaves on trees blow when a storm is fining to blow in. I have to say it is so soothing to me and also causes me to pause & reflect on God’s nature.

* I reviewed another book from Net Galley. This one was a children’s book titled Is God Still Awake. It’s about A small girl named Poppy who is accompanied by her companions— Her cat and dog and asks her parents and God big questions. She wants to know if God is awake if he hears her prayers and if he is always with her. It’s a book young children, I’d say between 4-6 would love. You can find that review HERE.
* The end of the week saw me back at my friend’s house, I will be staying the weekend. I’ve been helping her get ready for a craft show. It’s not until August, but she is still making items with which I help her. I’ll be taking a few of my wreaths too. I’ll tell you more about that in August.

  1. The power of nature is so awesome to watch, and to feel God's presence. I love the photo of the flag and balloons! I did a craft show years ago and can appreciate all the work that is involved. How fun to have a friend to share this with. Enjoy your weekend, Paula!

  2. Hello Paula. So glad you are joining with us for FFF. That book looks like a great one for children. I might look into it for my grandchildren. That is such a cute wreath! So creative. 3. Welcome, Paula! Nature is God's beauty and His creation. It is so important to enjoy it and savor it and care for it.
    Enjoy your creative weekend!

  4. Nature definitely causes me to reflect on both God's power and creativity. Love it. How fun that you got to spend the weekend celebrations with friends. That is always a wonderful blessing.

  8. Amen, He is so awe inspiring. Have a great weekend.

  9. Your first tag line under your blog title is similar to mine. 🙂

My husband likes to watch lightning. Storms and lightning scare me a little. More because of the possibility of losing power. Plus, where we used to live, sometimes part of the house would flood during heavy rainfall. But storms do show God's awesome power.

How nice to get together with friends at the beginning and end of the week! I hope the craft show goes well!

  10. Oh no, that sure would be a worry. Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a great week friend 😊
