What a predicament I was in. So back a few weeks ago I took my dog outside to go potty and I fell on the ice. I said aloud \” Here we go.\”
My bad knee and my hip were throbbing. As I\’m laying in the snow with tears in my eyes. I looked up at the beautifully falling snow. I spoke aloud to Jesus. \” Jesus, I\’m down, please help.\”
While I took a moment to get my bearings about me, I looked up again, and marveled at the beautifully falling snow illuminated by the street light. Then I said aloud \” Jesus, your snow is beautiful.\”
So my next predicament was getting up and walking back up the sidewalk to my apartment. Unbeknownst to me, when I fell, I was laying on part of my dog\’s leash. There\’s a funny part in this friends. I looked beside me and my dog was going potty very close to my head, she turns around and has this dubious look as if to say. Mom, what are you doing down here ? Though in pain I had to chuckle.
Okay back to the predicament of getting up and walking back up the sidewalk. There was at least 5 inches of snow, so I had to roll ( I had been flat on my back) and maneuvered so I could push myself up with other leg. Success, I\’m upright. \”Thank you Jesus.\”
So now my predicament was walking back up the sidewalk without falling on the ice again. As I limped along I kept one foot on the sidewalk, and the other on the edges of my neighbors \’ flower bed areas in the front of the apartments. We made it. \”Thank you Jesus.\”
Due to my chronic illnesses, I am labeled a fall risk. I fall several times a year (that\’s why at the beginning of this post I said \” Here we go.\”). I make some humor in spite of the predicaments I get myself in. I love to laugh, crying will not solve anything. But Jesus will.
Also Psalm 91 is a protection Scripture

Thank you Paula. We really look alike. I also fall regularly and last year I had already bruised my ribs on the left side. it’s because I’m hypermobile. I stumble easily 🙂
But that humor of yours… I love it. It’s good to laugh at yourself every now and then, right? By the way, how are you doing with the special migraine? Have you had many seizures this year?
